Lynne has established herself over
the last sixteen years as one of Australia’s internationally
successful authors and is presently working on popular fiction
manuscript number thirteen.
Born, raised and educated in
Sydney, Australia, Lynne left school at the age of fifteen. She has
worked in a variety of office jobs, including a personal assistant,
ran her own domestic products business from home, studied classical
guitar, commercial art, acting and became a professional entertainer
in the 1960s.
The inaugural President of Romance
Writers of Australia Inc., Lynne has been a conference presenter,
workshop tutor and has authored many articles on the various aspects
of writing, as well as having had published several short stories in
Australian Women’s magazines.
Lynne’s writing apprenticeship was
a long one as she taught herself how to become a great storyteller.
Her first success came in 1991 with a category romance novel published
by Silhouette Books in the U.S.A. and titled THE SHEIKH. From 1997 on
she has written and had published one popular fiction novel every
year.
Married to John, they have two
adult children and two grand-daughters.

Wrote a novella length story for an Australian
Anthology, 'Love, Obsession
Secrets
and Lies'
Was
commissioned to write a full length novel The Topaz Brooch
for Woman’s Day magazine.
Six
of Lynne’s popular fiction novels have been made into audio books,
published by Bolinda Publishing.
Has
received two SASSY awards.
In
2003 Lynne received the Marjorie Barnard Literary Award (presented
by the Society of Women Writers NSW Inc.) for her novel King of
Cane Valley.
Has
presented conferences and workshops on writing romance and
Australian popular fiction.
In
2004 her novel The Topaz Brooch received a Highly Commended
Certificate from the Society of Women Writers NSW Inc.
Lynne’s short stories and articles have been published in various
magazines throughout Australia.
